Improved TMA Alternative
Developed by Prof. Ravi Nanda
CNA Proform Archwires - Beta Titanium Alloy - Nickel Free
We went a step beyond TMA. Here are three reason clinicians are
switching from TMA to CNA:
-
CNA does not break as easily as TMA.
-
CNA has a smooth, high polish finish
which provides much less friction than TMA.
-
CNA maintains loops much better than
TMA. Once a loop is formed it maintains the intended loop.

CNATM
BETA III
Mushroom Loop Archwires |
|
|
|
|
Our new CNATM
Mushroom Loop archwires are made of advanced nickel-free, Beta III
Titanium alloy (CNA) that allows the wire to bend similar to
stainless steel while maintaining super elastic "memory"
properties to promote bodily movement in a consistent manner to
provide predictable space closure in horizontal, transverse and
vertical directions. Each archwire contains two contoured
mushroom shaped loops that evenly transmit forces from and to the
anterior and posterior segments. The rounded gingival portions of
the mushroom shaped loops, unlike traditional looped archwires,
are more anatomically shaped to the gingival area, less intrusive
on sensitive tissues and consequently significantly more
comfortable for patients. In addition, lower archwires feature
smaller loops than upper archwires accommodating the natural
proportional differences found in mandibular and maxillary teeth.
These wires come in
.016 x
.022, .017 x .025 and
.019 x .025 rectangular wires. Available in kits (total
36 wires) or packages. Call your account representative for part
numbers.

CNATM
BETA III
K-LoopTM
Molar
Distalizing Appliance |
|
|
|
|
Our
new CNATM
K-Loop was developed in Consultation with Dr. Varun Kalra.
This appliance is used to distalize molars in a more bodily
fashion as the special V-Bend in the K-Loop moves both the crown
and the root distally. Made of CNATM
BETA Titanium the K-Loop
produces gentle continuous forces for the efficient and effective
tooth movement.
